Booking Terms & Conditions

Booking Terms & Conditions

1. The Contract Between Us

The contract will consist of an agreed itinerary and your acknowledgement of acceptance of these booking conditions. The contract between us becomes valid at the point at which you issue instructions to us to go ahead with making reservations for the agreed itinerary and make the payment. By using the www.goexperience.asia site you accept these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time and without prior notice. Continuing to use this site after a change has been made is your acceptance of those changes.

2. Our Responsibilities

Go Experience accepts responsibility for carrying out the terms of the contract and for the performance of our employees, sub-contractors and suppliers. If we fail to comply with the terms of the contract, we will compensate you for any reasonable and directly related loss. We will not be liable to pay compensation if the failure is caused by yourself or a third party beyond our control.

Our liability in this regard is dependent upon your early notification of your dissatisfaction to us, our guide or one of our employees, in time for us to rectify the error or omission. If we are unable to rectify the error or omission, we will make appropriate compensation.

3. Changes by You

Amendments are complimentary if additional services are added into the itinerary. Amendment requests to a service are considered as a cancellation and a new booking. As a result, they are subject to the cancellation policy for that service. You will be advised of these terms on the confirmation.

4. Changes by Us

We reserve the right to correct any errors in rates or content quoted or calculated for any package, with immediate effect. We will use our reasonable endeavours to notify you of such corrections.

We may cancel, reschedule or amend any itinerary in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. This includes alterations to cruise itineraries and schedules including change of embarkation and disembarkation points. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangement affected due to the cancellations or amendments by reasons outside of our or our suppliers’ control including weather conditions, delays or cancellations by airlines, or other force majeures.

5. Acceptance of Booking

We reserve the right to decline your booking without explanation if we have cause to believe that you might pose a threat to public safety and/or security in Vietnam.

Our acceptance of your booking is conditional upon your understanding that we cannot be held liable for any accidents, illnesses, thefts or losses occurring during your holiday and caused by circumstances beyond our control, or resulting from your failure to take common-sense precautions or to follow instructions given by us or persons with official authority.

6. Travel Insurance

It is a requirement by Vietnamese law for all travellers to possess a valid travel insurance while travelling in Vietnam. Insurance should cover personal accident and medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation, baggage loss, and cancellation or curtailment of holiday.

7. The Price of Your Holiday

The price is the total cost of the holiday including all elements specified in the itinerary, unless stated otherwise. At the point you proceed with full payment, we understand that you agree to all terms and conditions associated with the services and prices included in the invoice.

The default price on display is in USD currency and you may be able to change the displaying currency to either Sterling Pounds (GBP), Australian Dollars (AUD), Euros (EUR) or Canadian Dollars (CAD) for your reference. The prices in other currencies are estimates from the base USD currency using an online converter tool – finance.yahoo.com. Our proposals, booking confirmations and invoices will use the default USD currency.
We use a third-party payment provider called ONE PAY to process all card payments. As regulated by Vietnamese law, all transactions will be in Vietnam Dong (VND) so your booking value will be converted to VND on check-out step using the real-time currency converter.

8. Cancellation or No-show by You

Cancellation must be advised by email to [email protected].

a. General cancellation policy for each product is available on the relevant product page of our website www.goexperience.asia and also in each confirmation report. Go Experience will advise when a cancellation requires a cancellation charge in our confirmation email. For day tours, generally full cancellation fee is applied if cancellation advice is received by email within 7 days of departure or no-show.

Cruising products, including but not limited to Mekong River cruising and Halong Bay boats, often have much stricter booking conditions than other services. These products may require additional upfront deposits to confirm bookings. These deposits are generally non-refundable. Certain deluxe hotels have higher cancellation fees and longer cut-off periods during peak seasons.

After full payment has been made, we will only cancel the contract due to circumstances beyond our control. In the unlikely event that such circumstances should arise, we will contact you immediately and offer you the choice of an alternative or a full refund of all monies paid. No additional compensation will be paid over and above the total sum received from you.
