You may have seen wholeheartedly stunning pictures of spectacular rice terraces of Vietnam. Did you notice that they have mostly been taken in Mu Cang Chai, a place belonging to Yen Bai province, Vietnam? This province is home to lush rice terraces, stretching from the top of mountains down to small streams, the breathtaking snake-shape passes around the mountains and to the unique agricultural culture  Make sure you have your camera ready, as each vista will seem better than the last. Mu Cang Chai and Yen Bai in general are best during harvest season during September and October or during land preparation in June however can be visited the whole year round.
