The below terms of use relate to our policies on users’ privacy and their access to all pages on www.goexperience.asia – or ‘the Site’ hereinafter. This Privacy Policy includes the types of personal information we receive and collect when you use our services, how we collect it, and what we do with it, as well as some of the steps we take to protect information  We hope this will help you make an informed decision about sharing personal information with us. 

This policy may be updated from time to time. You are responsible for reviewing this policy periodically and informing yourself of any changes to this policy.

Acceptance

Permission to use the Site and make bookings on the Site is conditional upon you, the customers, agreeing to the terms and conditions of use set out below. Do not proceed until you have read and accepted all of these conditions.

Who We Are

Go Experience is a Destination Management Company (DMC) and a Tour Operator specialising in operating group tours, customised private holidays and Event groups. Our head office is based in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam with our own operations offices in Hoi An and Hanoi. We partnership with quality local operators in Cambodia and Laos who are fully licensed and compliant with all local laws and regulations.

Our primary website is www.goexperience.asia for all inbound visitors to Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

Any reference to Go Experience, GoEx, We or us means Go Experience Limited Company.

What Personal Data We Collect

1.     Making a Booking or Request a Quote

We will collect certain information from you when you make an enquiry or a booking with us, including but not limited to the following personal information:

  • Your full name, date of birth, gender, title, postal address, phone number, email address, next of kin, dietary requirements, height and weight, travel insurance details, passport details (including nationality and city of birth), passport scan, visa application, visa page scan.
  • Any additional information you provide during the booking process to check if a trip is right for you including any pre-existing medical conditions, have a disability, medication that requires refrigeration etc.
  • Any travel arrangements including flight and accommodation details that you haven’t booked with Go Experience but are relevant to the services you book with us. 

2.     Financial Information

We use a third-party vendor named One pay to process your booking payments on our behalf. If we need to provide you with a refund, we will refund through the original payment method.

How We Collect Your Information

Your information may come to us in a variety of different ways. You may provide information directly to us when communicating via email, phone, letter, web chat or in person. You may also provide us with your information by filling in an online or printed form, leaving feedback, completing a survey, subscribing to a newsletter or a membership program.

Your information may also be provided to us by an external partner or third party; for example, a travel agent, insurance provider or a friend/family member who is booking on your behalf.

If you are providing us with the personal information of another person, you must ensure that those you represent are aware of the content of our policy and consent to your acting on their behalf.

Why We Collect Your Information

We use your information to arrange and provide you with the products and services you have requested and booked. This includes booking any flights, transportation, accommodation and activities. The following will provide more insight into these purposes:

  • Your personal information will be used by our tour leaders and guides to identify you and ensure your safety during the trip.
  • Depending on your destination and services being booked for you, we may be required by the supplier to provide certain types of personal information in order to secure the booking. We may also be legally required by local laws and governments to provide travel documentation such as passport details or a passport scan.
  • Your contact details will be collected in order to manage our relationship with you, including updates about your booking, providing relevant information and any applicable tickets, handling feedback and complaints, and to contact you in the event of an emergency.
  • Providing relevant information, which may include sensitive information, to insurance providers, their agents and medical staff in circumstances where we/they need to act on your behalf or in the interest of passengers or in an emergency.
  • Where allowed, your medical information may be shared with any relevant personnel to ensure that we understand any specific needs you may have, before and during your trip. Any pre-existing medical conditions could impact your enjoyment of the trip, and by informing us of any conditions, issues or limitations, we can ensure that Intrepid is better prepared to assist if required.
  • We may use your contact personal information for our internal marketing purposes including market researches. We may contact you with available deals and promotions.

How We Protect Your Data

We are dedicated to keeping your personal information secure in safe place. We have a procedure in place to protect your data from loss, misuse or authorised access, modification or disclosure.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal information breach and will notify you and applicable regulator where we are legally required to do so.

We Never Sell Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

Photos and Videos

Taking a photo or video is something many people love to do, especially as a way to capture special moments. This is likely to be the reason why you may be included in visual media taken on your trip. We may use these photos for our website, social network platforms and brochures and where possible, we will request for your approval before we publish them.

On occasion, there may also be a professional photographer scheduled on your trip for the purpose of taking promotional images. In these cases, a consent and waiver form will be provided to you.

Reviews, Comments and Feedbacks

When travellers leave comments and reviews on the site we collect the data shown in the form including your full name and email address. You may be required to register a log-in access for this purpose.

We may contact you using your provided email address and invite you to participate in some market researches or end-of-tour surveys. You may be asked to provide a score or comments relating to your trip experiences. 

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
