Rise early this morning and board your boat for a visit to the bustling floating market at Cai Rang. See local farmers trading their produce on the water as they have done for centuries. Next stop is a visit to the Khmer Temple, Pothisomrom, in the town of O Mon. This is a very impressive Sakyamuni Buddhist Temple that also serves as a Buddhist academy. After lunch, take a walk around the town and visit its bustling market and finish with a visit to Sam Mountain, with its breathtaking views over the rice paddies to the Cambodian border.
This morning board a small sampan for an exploration of the Hau River waterways. Life in this area is still dominated by the Mekong as it has been for centuries.
