New Normal and Safety Measures at Go Experience Travel Post Covid19
INTRODUCTION
Vietnamese Government is planning (as of Jun20) to resume international flights from Asian countries and it is forecasted to take effect from 1 July 20. Despite the current mandatory 14-day quarantine is still effective, there is hope the restriction will be reviewed for safer countries.
Go Experience has implemented a “New Normal” protocol as a preparation for the travel reopening and recovery. Please note that the below are subject to change and will be updated as necessary and required by the local government. Our ultimate objective is to ensure reasonable safety and convenience to travellers.
1. OPERATIONAL AND STAFF PREPAREDNESS
Go Experience ensures the staff and guides are trained to optimise operational quality and delivery:
- Ensure staff and guides are aware of the latest updates of health, hygiene and health checks for staff if required by local legislation.
- Personal protection equipment (PPE) available to staff, such as masks and hand sanitizer if required.
- Contactless or online payment where possible.
- Established with suppliers and partners including restaurants, hotels, transport partners and venues that they follow health and hygiene protocols and guidelines to protect travellers as required.
- Explored different options for operations, where possible, such as electronic itinerary, online payments, scheduled entries, smaller groups to avoid crowds.
2. DELIVERING A SAFE EXPERIENCE
Go Experience will deliver a safe experience for staff and travellers through enhanced cleanliness and hygiene best practices, we will
- Ensure local guides and staff regularly wash hands
- Confirm with suppliers processes focused on enhanced sanitation, disinfection, and deep cleaning practices for coaches and other vehicles as required by local regulations
- Implement customer processes including traveller information and minimising physical contact.
- Establish with partners and suppliers, including museums, shows, theatre, that they follow recommended health, sanitation, disinfection and hygiene protocols aligned with local regulations
- Establish that partner restaurants follow recommended health, sanitation, disinfection and hygiene and food safety protocols to protect travellers if required by local regulations.
3. REBUILDING TRUST & CONFIDENCE
To enhance trust and confidence through transparency and communication with travellers, we will
- Provide clear, consistent and up-to-date communication to customers on new health & hygiene protocols
- Work with suppliers to implement clear signage to inform travellers of the enhanced cleaning protocols, avoiding physical contact, and recommendations.
- Share guidelines ahead of trip and where applicable in person upon commencement of trip (wearing of face masks or coverings, guidance on hand hygiene and avoiding physical contact if required by local regulations)
- Inform travellers about support available if questions or concerns arise.
- Explore collaboration with medical/travel insurance companies to offer traveller insurance covering COVID-19 who could assist with arrangements should they be necessary such as emergency repatriation and medical care
